I was in Hazelden Betty Ford in Newberg, OR and had been there for 3.5 weeks. I got covid in the facility and since I didn’t have the booster and they didn’t have any to give, they made me leave. It is really tough going from treatment to solitary confinement. On day 28. It’s been hard. I am really looking forward to being out and active.
I was booted at 10pm on Monday night. My family and I were not prepared for my return. It has been very hard cleaning up paraphernalia and the mess I left behind before treatment. Feeling a lot of resentment toward Hazelden Betty Ford but I know I can’t hold onto it.
That’s rough, man. Try not to pick up self pity. It’s so dangerous for us, because we get the fu(k its from it. Those are bad. Whatever you’re going through, try to find things to be grateful for. They will help you get through.
