I was just 6 months sober and I ruined it. I drank three times now. Last night Was a very rough night for me. I ended up going to the hospital. I feel so dang guilty and I’m so mad at myself. How have you Coped with a slip up/relapse.
Get sober again and learn from it. You can’t change what happened, but you can change something in your recovery. Let it make your approach to sobriety better. Maybe that means you do more or take it more seriously. You’re ok. You have some sober time. You know the kind of things that it takes to get back there.
I prayed a lot !
Thank you. What kind of groups do you recommend?
Thank I appreciate it.
That’s exactly what happened to me. I was thinking I can get drunk this one time and I won’t do it again. Wrong.
Awesome thank you so much.
Good stuff Ashley.
Jared if you search the App Store for Meeting Guide, there is an AA app that is super sweet.
I recently bought a journal called “the first 90 days of sobriety” and its been really helpful. Getting disciplined to fill it out everyday is what has helped me get thru each day. (On amazon for $10)
Thank you!
Change is constant. I have a choice to be open to learning or to kill my self by slow suicide when I drink.
There are many that believe you and have faith that you can and will stay sober.
Take suggestions and reach out, pray or eat a pound of Oreos. When a person stops addictive behavior a vacum gets created and it needs to be filled with positive energy.
Have faith and don't give up.
Welcome back
