I was really hoping to find the help I needed here and am very discouraged that I made a post asking questions and seeking guidance this morning and waited and hoped all day long and not one response to my post, thinking this is just not the community or outreach I was looking for😭, going to bed with a heavy heart and mind tonight.

Scott, I felt the same way when I came on here. Don’t let others bring you down because they haven’t responded. You take care of you. Enjoy your life’s new journey and don’t rely on others. Remember be selfish and take care of you. This will make you stronger. Keep yourself busy and find happiness.

Sometimes it takes awhile to get a response but, stay strong! We all are dealing with sobriety.

I read your initial post. Very good post and written well. However, you did ask if anyone is available in Dayton, Ohio. That alone will narrow your follow- up responses. I have not found anyone in my area either. Download the app 'Meeting Guide" It shows all the AA meetings in Dayton Ohio, there are dozens just today alone. In person or online is available. There you can meet locals and easily find local support groups.

Hey Scott! I just replied to your original post. Don’t get discouraged. If you want to get a ton of replies, change your profile name and pic to a good looking lady lol. While I’m at it, be on the guard for scammers profiles.

Hey Scott, I'm so sorry you felt this way.

Holidays can be rough when you’re already feeling down. Just so you know, posts shift around fast here, the ones with newer comments stay at the top, so it’s easy for earlier posts to get buried. It’s not you being ignored, it’s just how the feed works sometimes, especially with folks busy with family or travel. I’m glad you’re still here. Keep checking in, someone will catch it when they can.

Good day Scott if you ever need to chat hit me up I used to feel that way all the time I still have spurts of unrest but it doesn't last as long anymore I don't know the rules about connecting outside the chat here Im going to look into today as It was explained to me early on in my sobriety that we are all like minded im just your run of the mill addict nothing special
