I was two years sober and broke my sobriety this weekend. I went on a two day binge and embarrassed myself. Feeling pretty low.

Come back. Don’t beat yourself up. You know you can do it. Dust yourself off. Call your sponsor. Go to meetings. Forgive yourself. You can do it.

Shake it off. Life’s filled with let downs. Can always get it back. I’ve been there also. Have had a few relapses yet here again. Time heals all. You’ll get it back if you forgive yourself and work it again. You’re young and have a whole life ahead. Only one way to go now….up. Welcome back.

It just breaks my heart to go back to the blacking out/home alone drinking. My withdrawal the past two days was bad. Had to go get a Valium today from the emergency room and an IV. It just took me back to a really ugly place.

Been there. It will get better

Nothing will take away those 2 years. And you can begin adding to them tonight. My last relapse was 6 months of absolute misery. Embarrassment. Shame. Regret. Rinse. Repeat. I didn’t have the courage you’re showing right now. Humility. So great.

Thank you guys so much!! I just now realize I never want to drink again. Maybe I needed that small fall back.

Hello Vanessa, we have all been there. A relapse does not define who you are, it's merely a stumble on your road to sobriety. It stinks but you have to pick yourself up and move on. Reach out anytime. Best of luck

Hello Vanessa, I'm 121 days clean after a 3 day binge that ended with a DWI. I passed out luckily in a parking lot and not on the road. If you ever want to talk you can DM me I'll talk
Best of luck

Hey, you’ve done the right thing by reaching out right away.keep talking to folks in sobriety, start regular meetings if you can and forgive yourself
You can beat this

It’s ok. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You will be ok :+1:
We are human and if you need to talk I’m here also
