I watch the sunrise for many reasons. It arrives every morning - quiet, constant, even on the gloomiest days.

Some days, I am tired - tired of talking, of leading, of carrying the ache of memories, of being strong all the time.

But in that quiet light, I remember: strength isn't found on the easy days. It's rising above and remembering who I am on the bleakest days.

That hit me deep. I know that kind of tired—the kind that sinks into your bones. But you’re right, the sunrise is proof. Proof that even through the weight of silence, pain, and exhaustion, something greater keeps showing up. And maybe that’s what we’re called to do too. Not to always be strong, not to always have it figured out, but to rise anyway—because even on the bleakest days, we’re still here. Still rising.

Learning to give ourselves grace during those moments is important.
