I went into a bar Saturday night to collect money and they offered me a drink. I didn't want to tell them that I stopped drinking so I said I was working. All I saw was drunks around me that could bearly walk, talk or think. It's almost 2 months and I lost 8 pounds, no more heart burn. Blood pressure is lowing. My eyesight is even better. I'm having good dreams and sleeping though the night without waking up every 2 hours. I'm drawing again. Eating way better and feeling healthier. I feel light on my feet and full of energy. I didn't realize what drinking was slowly doing to me until now. On the downside, I had a few bad days last two weeks. Another old time friend past away. Car accident. Landlord said he was raising my rent 800.00 more a month on two buildings. Hospital said it will be 6 months before they can operate on both my wrist. My furnace in my shop needs replaced. Had to buy 6 new tires for my freightliner. And I'll probably have to sell my hotrod to buy a shop.

Welcome to sober life. Life on life’s terms. Pretty cool story tho. Good for you getting better in every way. You should feel proud you can cope today. Everything will fall into place the longer you stay that sober path.

Nice to be sober when dealing with problems that would have been anyways. Stay strong and proud.

We get to take the good with the hard in sobriety. I try to focus on the good, but life can always get a little lifey. You got this walkytalky!

Congratulations on your sobriety. Dealing with issues seems to get easier every day. Hang in there.
