I went to a winery vacation with my family and I am a mess… 3 1/2 years alcohol free and I didn’t drink. Would you tell your family no?

Great job not drinking. Be open with your family. If they are supportive or not is their choice, and remember you have support and a cheering section here for you

I would have gone too. Live your life but live it without alcohol. My family has seen me at my worst and they're happy having me back. Looks to me like you are in control... Good for you!!

Not sure what your recovery program consists of. However, in A.A. I learned that I can go anywhere in the world I choose without fear. The obsession to drink is gone. I react sanely to alcohol. I no more want to drink it than I do Drain-o. They are both poison that will kill me. One quickly, one slowly, both painfully.

I wouldn’t be tempted. You can get alcohol anywhere not just wineries
