i went to church today for the first time in a very long time with my family and i’ve been working on rebuilding my faith and i truly am seeing growth within myself. i’m more patient and forgiving, and i’m learning to move forward with love. i’m guess i’m just sharing because i feel really happy right now and i’m glad i get to experience this with a sober mind and body. hope everyone is having a great sunday and if you aren’t i hope this post gives you some good energy

Happy Sunday Phillip! Nice post! Thanks for sharing your positive experience with us. While I’m not much of a church person, I know many others do find it very helpful in their recovery. I believe that a sober mind/attitude opens the door to enjoying and experiencing life in ways that we couldn’t before. Congrats to you! Awesome!!! My faith in Christ is my number one value in life and honestly, since I've come to the rooms of AA I've realized it seems to be a glue that holds my relationship with Him together. God bless you. I've been doing the next right thing and cleaning my side of the street not worrying about others sides and the change in others around me just because of the change in me is seriously profound. Keep it up. You are loved!
