i went to detox a few weeks ago. i tried to be good and take my zubsolv when i got home but i went into precipitated withdrawals. now i’ve been unable to stay sober for weeks because i am having such a hard time waiting days of being sick to take my stupid zubsolv. i just want to feel normal.

what was the point of going to that detox ?? what made you relapse right after getting home ..? you deserve sobriety and peace. sending you hugs stay strong ⊂(^(工)^)⊃

Have you thought of long term rehab? 6 months to a year, there are good options out there. You do deserve a good life, it is possible, not easy but possible

Well, the upside is, you won't die from an opioid withdrawal, you'll just wish you would. My best advice is to gut it out. I sat in a mandatory 72 hr detox with a dude coming off Suboxone from Heroin. He puked miserably for the whole time. But when we had group together on day 5 he was a changed person. Tore up no doubt, but his look of relief to be on the other side of it was priceless. Keep off the dope and get through it. There's a new life waiting for you on the other side.
