It ain’t silly. I go to AA, but my DOC is most definitely weed. I have friends that attend both. I’ve tried a few 12 step organizations, but settled on AA. If I had to go to a different 12 step group for all of my addictions… not enough days in the week lol. Seriously though, it’s great that you recognize the problem and are doing something about it

Recovery is yours. I have bad migraines opiates were my demon so for me I use weed to manage my migraines not to get high recreationally so way your options. Talk to your sponsor. We may be something you need. It’s up to you to depend on your recovery.

I have hope that if I be honest about the weed at the tables I’ll feel more spiritual fit and have the courage to do something about my resentments that had been enabled by weed.

Thank you for sharing that with me, I’ve been going through a separation with my husband leading into a divorce. The “damage reduction therapy” worked for a bit but now that I’m seeing more of the promises come into my life the stuff just felt/feels dragging on my step work.

You’re not alone :muscle:

Weed may not be an option for everyone, weed never been my problem breaking pills down and snorting them so I have to find a way to control my headaches, without pills. We are responsible for our recovery.
