I tried to take a sober friend every time I was faced with this sort of situation in my early sobriety. It worked and had a lot of fun. If it’s going to be too much it’s ok to not put yourself in a position that may harm you.

You got this. I had to pick up carry out from a pub yesterday and got offered a drink while I was waiting for the food to come out. Just ended up having a Coca Cola.
