I wish praying worked as good as people want it too. if things worked that way, there would be no more hunger, and there would be no more people doing drugs and other addictions and people wouldn’t have to worry about having transportation issues because the world would be great, but unfortunately, we just don’t live in that great paradise world that we want to live in yet.

Unfortunately people make bad choices but thank GOD for HIS GRACE! Some people don't want him in their life and he won't intervene until you repent of your sins and ask him In...a simple prayer w a sincere heart is all you need...then watch things change for the better...trust me....I'm living proof...if more people did this the world would be a better place!
I did all that years ago and then the JWs said I didn't “qualify” to be baptized and then I left! I did visit that church last year, but Im pretty much moved on. I need to find a religion that isn't a cult.

I was raised Catholic but I have converted to Christianity...for a few reasons but the main one was they wouldn't baptize my grandchildren because the parents weren't married.. i can't imagine Jesus turning them away...HE would not. I was never as welcomed as I am in Christianity...you should give em a try...I hope this helps you

You’re not wrong for feeling that way honestly, and you’re not wrong for saying it.
I think there's also a force of negativity that try to keep people down and I believe prayer is a huge part of combatting that. And sometimes it doesn't come as fast as we would like our answers to come, but they do come. Don't give up.

Prayer works for a lot of people in different circumstances. It doesn’t take away the suffering it comforts me in the suffering.

We should be able to choose our wants and desires. Free will is promised and not provided. I feel this. I don't pray as much as I talk back and forth with God. When I pray, it is to send a message for the record, so they are often sarcastic in tone.
