I won’t drink for weeks and not even crave it but then think ill be fine socially drinking and its fine for a little while then inevitably ends up with me binging dangerously. Its such a weird cycle.

That is very true that is why I stay away for anything or any environment that has alchol!!!!
This is common…. We all think we can go back to drinking like gentlemen.
