I would like to commend this community - especially the men - for being focused on recovery. Every man that I’ve interacted with thus far has been interested in supporting me on my journey of recovery and nothing more. No talk of anything romantic, no mention of how I look, no asking for my phone number etc. As a woman, this is incredibly refreshing and encouraging. And I also see many of the men here lamenting that they are targets for catfishing/scammers. Yet, they are still staying strong in recovery. Keep it up, everyone!

I know how you feel. I join this site for sobriety only and increase my sober network and share my experience, strength and hope with other sober people.
I’ve experienced a lot of things that could have made me drink but I didn’t. This is the reason I share my story that we can go through difficult times and not drink

They say take care of a plant for a year and if it lives, get a dog. If that lives, then you can try a relationship. I'm just trying to take care of myself right now!

Thanks for sharing a positive post on a topic that is nuisance to many of us. I’ve always stated that the majority of us on this site are legit and here for the right reasons.

Yea this App is amazing I absolutely love and appreciate the staff here keeping everyone safe. Because in all reality we all deserve to recover and find our real selves because for years we put on masks to hide our real identity but in recovery we find ourselves and we learn to love ourselves unconditionally and that allows us to love others unconditionally no matter what
