There is nothing wrong with you. It’s the disease that we share. The last three years of my drinking, every time I drank I swore to never drink again and every time within a couple days I drank. I really did want to stop but I couldn’t. I was baffled. Only when I came to full acceptance that this disease was going to take my life and make it progressively worse until death that I worked as hard to get sober as I did to get loaded. I reached out for help and lived by the motto of… the only think I had to change to be sober was everything
