If anyone you know is struggling, wanting, or debating getting off of Suboxone/Subutex but afraid particularly of the withdrawal: ATTENTION!. You need to consider a new alternative. SUBLACADE. A monthly injection. I would be happy to talk to anyone about the medication. I completed the Sublacade program a couple months ago. It was a very important part of my early recovery and something I am no longer feeling uneasy/embarrassed about sharing. It can be scary thinking of actually FINISHING an MAT program. A lot of doctors don’t necessarily encourage it. However mine did. He worked with me and helped me reach MY GOAL of completing the program.

I’d like more info. I’m on suboxone now for that addiction and I’m ready to get off after 5 years

First you need to talk to your doctor and see if he prescribes Sublacade. And if he doesn’t if he can point you in the direction of someone who does. I’m dealing with my crazy baby right now I’m going to message you after I get her to bed for the night.
