Oh boy. Time for the na mouthwash like Kevin suggested. We can’t have those accidents. In my opinion, he gets 1 do over.

Once in early sobriety I pulled a Tupperware container from the freezer that I didn’t know what it was. I thawed it a little and then tasted a bite to see what it was. It was a frozen strawberry margarita. My ex had left it there months before (she felt horrible!) and forgotten all about it when she moved out.

I did not reset my clock. I talked to my sponsor. It was a gods honest mistake. I stopped immediately. I did not pick up again. And now I do not just taste random things that could contain alcohol.

Mouthwash is a no brainer. Dump it and get alcohol free. Many of them are these days anyway.

I’ve been around listerine drinkers as a transit operator. You want to talk about some strong odors - boy oh boy!

I could never understand the people even drinking mouthwash to get drunk. Is there really that much alcohol in mouthwash. I heard there’s more alcohol in hamburger buns than non alcoholic beer. If your intention is to drink you relapsed. A few weeks ago I ate chicken and waffles and I put syrup on the waffle. I tasted like bourbon and I looked at the syrup and it said maple bourbon syrup. I didn’t know. I don’t consider that a relapse wtf..

I use alcohol free listerine. But if it was an accident it was an accident. If someone is accidentally swallowing listerine again and again… I know people who have abused mouth wash. I never used cocaine but I avoid cocaine now.

Welp, for me is was the county psych ward when I was convinced I had replaced my fingers with grapes. Some incredibly interesting people there, but the food was terrible. Two stars. Would not recommend.
