I'd still be me. I'm definitely an Alpha, I'm a leader not a follower. But it would have been good to have someone in my corner for the fight. When a lot of us go through that first 4 or 5 months of our recovery journey we don't have much support because we have burnt all those bridges several times over at that point in our addiction. So it was really tough for me not to have someone in my corner during the really tough rounds of the fight but I made it finally and am able to look back and be proud of myself for making good decisions when I could have chosen the wrong ones yet again... But thanks for your comment and opinion. I do appreciate your feedback
