I'm 9 weeks post op. hip replacement surgery. hip is basically good. progress is slow, but steady. now that hip is getting better it's More and more obvious that my knee needs to be replaced. same side as the hip. the surgeon agrees and actually gave me a cortisone shot last Weds. I'm a small business owner and usually this time of year I'm somewhere tropical. but I've got my physical therapy 2x weekly. if that's my biggest problem, I got nothing to complain about. I am truly blessed. From where I was before I got clean, to what my life is today...how does that happen? God makes all things possible. please don't think I'm some kind of holy roller, I'm not at all. I pray in the morning and say thank you at night. Ive found that staying connected to AA, God, others in recovery makes my life incredible.
I'm going to my first "Matt Talbot" retreat this weekend. I've been to many retreats, conventions, round-ups, Cursillo, etc, but never a Matt Talbot. Also going to retreat next month in NH "emotional sobriety". And I was asked to chair a group on emotional sobriety. I was taught never say no to AA.

Sounds like you've got a lot of great things planned. So glad that your surgery went well in your recovering.
