I'm about to give up and go back to drinking

Do you want to die or live? I can give you a great reason. Death by alcohol is brutal. Watched my brother die a very painful death and my friend was found dead in his car he bled out from every part of his body. This is no joke. What is alcohol doing for you? Happy when you’re drinking and miserable when not. Vicious miserable cycle. I pray you do some research or watch a few utube videos. I do that nightly just to remind myself that going back to h@ll isn’t worth it. I pray you can get this. You need a recovery team, people you can count on. AA meetings sponsor. I pray you get this because it’s a painful death.

You may not make it back. Life does get tuff but going back out will really make it bad. Get to a meeting or call your sponsor if you have one. If not call a friend.

Drinking solves nothing it only makes thing harder to deal with…. And your asking us do a reason for you to be sober
I think you have had those answers already hence why you stopped to begin with
Check the rear view mirror and keep moving forward your past like all of ours was bleak to say the least so look back and remember

'giving up' and going back to drinking is really taking on poison, which taxes our bodies and burdens our brains. So really if you want to give up let go of the idea that alcohol will do something good for you; It absolutely won't. Give up that illusion that's been screamed at you by movies, TV, and the drug companies(booze makers) for your whole life. Let go of the brainwashing, and realize there's no fight when you let go of the false idea that you actually want that poison on you to make your life harder. Then, when you give that up, you'll be free.
