Anxiety is HUGE but goes away :slightly_smiling_face: I have 27 days, 25 anxiety free !

Hi Larry, my suggestion is to change what you are doing. If you keep relapsing doing the same thing, then you need a shift. Whether it’s different meetings, different kinds of meetings, incorporating different readings, meditation, mindfulness, etc.

Hi Larry, a thought comes first. Than the feelings. Than the reaction. I have to mentally stop myself and ask where the thought is coming from. If I react this way or do that, what happens next? Keep reaching out. Jenn is right too.

Powerless we are. It really helped me to take vivitrol for a couple of months. Also detoxing somewhere was a plus too. I could not have stayed home and quit; however, people white knuckle it all the time.

90 days in and still have anxiety attacks. They get better with time and come less often. Good luck

Thank you. Will look into it

Thanks. My Dr stopped giving me Xanax. Guess that's a good thing?

I don't have control either Larry. My higher power does. Surrender my friend. That's worked for me for over 4 years now. Don't give up

90 meetings in 90 days.

Hey Larry, don't give up. Keep pushing. I know it's not easy, but you can do it. :muscle:

Do you have a support group or friends nearby? Reach out when you think about using.... talking about the consequences for getting high or drunk with someone who cares about you will stop you from using. Self control, self love, self worth. Get back on your sobriety horse, my dude.

Hey Larry I’m Larry from one Larry to another have you tried changing your surroundings? Making big changes like going sober is extremely difficult with out changing your environment as well.
