Rehab or an inpatient might be a smart choice. If you have insurance deeply consider this option.

If you don't then realize you are stronger than you think and can overcome this moment with a commitment to change. Nothing is impossible but many things in life ARE hard. We are promised the chance to live and experience life. You can change yours with that first good decision.

Don't try to do this alone. Count on your faith, friends, family and maybe even just medical help for withdrawal symptoms. Be brave as you are and strong as you can see you can already be. And never give up. It's your life. You have the power and the control

YES!! Live, please. Stay sober and live. It is possible. You’re already doing this. We all just have one day, you know? And it drove me crazy when people told me this at the beginning, but it does get better. Just hang on. As long as it takes. You got this

So hard. I understand. You are not alone.

Try to stay busy.

“Rarely have we seen a person fail who has throughly followed our path.”
Chapter 5 big book explains how it works.
Ricky congrats on making the first step. AA meetings, sponsor, big book and step work is all that’s needed to first remove the urge to take that first drink. Then the rest of sobriety including peace within will follow.

Ricky, you still holding on?

How are you holding out, Frederick

Keep on keepin’ on Ricky! And Frederick!
You guys can do it!!!

Staying busy and going to bed early has helped me. I am on day 78 and am amazed I have come this far. I go to one online aa meeting a day and an in person meeting on Saturday. I have an online sponsor who has said to me to just focus on not picking up a drink. It is work but together we can do this.

If you stick with it you will find a better life in sobriety. Take it from a career, hall of fame alcoholic.

Crumbling ,that's something I have felt many times, having a meeting to go to helps. I have been out here 12 years and I guess I'm not good at making friends, or covid has worked well for the government, I just don't know to many people.so crumbling is not to bad..
