Im coming up on 6 months and I'm still waking

Im coming up on 6 months and I'm still waking up every hour or so throughout the night! Does anyone else have the same problem and maybe can give me some tips that might help me get a good nights sleep?

Limiting caffeine late in the day. Maybe you'll have better luck than me at that. My trazadone keeps me from waking up throughout the night.

I take a magnesium supplement that has changed my sleep for the better.

I take melatonin, at least 15mg and ashwagandha before bed. Works like a charm to keep me down. Also, ashwagandha 2x during the day for anxiety. Morning, and evening.

I won't take pills but I'll cut back on the caffeine all day thanks

Place three fingers of each hand Between your top ribs directly below your clavicle (2,3 & 4th) - very slowly and lightly massage in a circular motion - breathe evenly - sounds weird I know but these are Chapmans points and it’s very soothing - at times, I wake back up in this exact position

Im heading to a meeting I'm sorry

I'll try thatlol

I'm having same problem almost 6 months hard to fall asleep when I do wake up every hour seems like don't know if it has anything to do with getting clean but it sucks but I'm dealing with it hope it gets better

I’m with Nat on this! Taking a magnesium supplement has definitely helped (after trying many other things).

Give your body the time it needs to heal you will get there trust in you :sparkles::pray:t3: you will look back at this one day, waking up from a good nights rest :sparkles::pray:t3::blush:

Breath right nasal strips and limiting water before bed works for me also try blackout curtains. I sleep like baby straight through the night most nights. Also prayer before bed :sleeping_bed:

I stopped caffeine after 2:00 and really cut down on my sugar and it has totally helped with my sleep.

Last night I did struggle some through out the night I’m glad it’s not only me

The lack of sleep… I still understand this. Six years sober and getting a lot more sleep than I used to. I found that getting that exercise in throughout the day and putting my phone aside has helped in a huge way, glad you’re here.

Thank you everyone who shared their tips with me on how to get a better night's sleep

•No caffeine after 3 pm.
•Daily exercise such as walking an hour a day. • •No late evening runs or cardio.
•I take Magnesium 400 mg every night
•Do you snore or have Sleep Apnea? Need a sleep study?
•I listen to the Calm app or play a tape with thunderstorms, waves, etc.
• Prayer & meditation prior to bedtime
• No loud music or violent TV shows in the evening
•No mind altering substance such as TCH. Interrupts sleep patterns
•Melatonin supplements may be helpful
•No late night chocolate
•Try Sleepy time tea
•No heavy meals
