Im dealing with alot in the past week. My cousin got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, one of my good friends had cancer 2 years ago. She survived was 1 year 3 months cancer free. 2 days ago she was rushed to hospital, now has stage 4 cancer. My aunts heart stopped and she died on her way to bed right before Christmas. A good friend killed himself a month ago.
Today I'm very grateful to be alive. I'm very grateful I'm sober and have worked my aa program to a tee. If I wasn't who I am today in sobriety I definitely would have drank today because of all of this. Today I'm a very grateful alcoholic.
