Im going to be strongly triggered tonight. My husband is coming home from a five day trip. We always sit down and have a drink or 15 when he gets home from a trip while he tells me all about the trip.

If you really don't want to, tell him. He's your husband, he should understand that you have an alcohol problem

Thank you. My husband doesn’t request that I drink. I just want to. The good news is I didn’t.

Yes Alicia he does know that I struggle. He also smokes and I struggle with that as well. But my struggle is my own. He is not an alcoholic, I am. Same with my friends. Good news though I did not drink.
