I'm going to my first meeting tomorrow. Any advice?

Raise your hand and say that your new here and need help... You will be amazed at all the women that will be willing to help you. If you are wondering why they are so willing to help you, it's because helping you helps them. Identify and don't compare what you hear and read at meetings.
Don't be afraid of going to your first meeting either, everyone in that meeting has gone to their first meeting too and understands what it is like for you.
Don't chicken out. Go. Drink some coffee. Shake hands if you want, or don't. And then, go back.
Ask for a first step. Listen to all the stories. If you want to talk do so. If you want to just listen do that. Have an open mind going into it. We are all there to help, and know what you are going through because we have been there. Good luck on your journey
