I'm good at helping people even though I'm struggling myself!!! Yes I have been able to get myself into a sober living house but I'm 331 miles from anyone I know and that harms a little cause I don't having problems getting rides to meetings and I am having a problem getting a sponsor and this is two things that are deal breakers for me to live here!!!

Where is “here? I got sober in So Cal where I got drunk and grew up. Now in TX and meetings over 30 minutes away. We have that triangle with a circle as AA symbol. Three sides of triangle represent 3 parts of recovery. In person contact with other AA members or fellowship is or Service is one side. The book and steps one side. Recovery.
Unity is the group or AA as a whole. We must work all three. Today is temporary like tomorrow. Life changes as we stay sober. All you really have is today. Right now.
