I'm grateful for basic security. Not the kind that ring provides but the security that says I have food, clothes, a roof, a job, and a family who is there for me. I can remember times I wasn't sure I would have any of that.

Yes! I'm grateful for these things, too.
I'm grateful life isn't as hard as adults made it appear during my childhood. Yes, there are rough moments- but I get to work and not hate my job. Something most adults made seem impossible as I was growing up.
