I'm grateful for everything God has given me through my sobriety. The relationships I've gained, the confidence and self respect I learned through working on myself. I used to feel like life was something I had to bare. I had to trudge through life without any recognition or comprehension of what the point was of living. But today that is not the case. Today I get to live life. And truly appreciate what that means. For that, I am grateful.

Thanks for sharing Missy. Your post resonates with me. I was just surviving…barely. Life was something that happened to me. Little did I know I had a choice. Alcohol and drugs had little by little rendered me powerless over my own life choices. Like you, I’m so very grateful to be able to live my life again
