I'm grateful for my home group. I finally feel at home and loved. I feel relief as soon as I walk in.

I'm grateful for my 12 year old son. He's wacky and fun and we embrace our ADHD ways.

I'm grateful for my landlord. He's cool and allows pets and even encourages it. Because of this I've been able to give a 12 year old dog a consistent, reliable home whose owner is bouncing around between homelessness, shelters, & institutions and struggling with alcohol and drugs. I'm also able to watch a sober friend's cat while she goes to jail for 3 months.

I'm grateful for my relapsed friends when they make it back and keep pursuing recovery.

I'm grateful for my sober friends and the raw authentic connection we share which allows us to be vulnerable with each other so we can help each other heal.

I gotta say, pup doesn't look happy with the hat.

So true. I put it on him for just the picture my friend gave him the hat. :joy:

I used to have a neat picture of my tabby cat Al with a birthday hat, the cone with rubber band strap. His ears sticking out sideways, a look of death on his face. Precious.

That's awesome. I met up with 2 of my friends tonight and we read "Building a New Life" from the big book.
