I'm grateful for this first 30 days. I've been here before, but I have never pursued true long term sobriety with help and counseling. In my heart I know I am on the right path. I hope all of you here are having a day with clarity and strength .

God Blesses and Protects us, all we have to do is not drink no matter what, go to meetings, get a sponsor and work the steps of AA! It’s the only help for chronic alcoholics like me, it works when nothing else can! This is a crazy disease, once we drink our allergy to alcohol kicks and all we remember is drinking, it blots out the rest of the world. But, for alcoholics to drink is to die, we are dying from a 3 fold disease: an allergy of the body (causes cravings) , a mental obsession of the mind and a belief we are not worth the “best life”—a belief God is out to get us. AA is the solution to long term sobriety.
