I'm grateful I can look past the not so good things and know any day sober is better than any day drunk or high. I have a friend, my HP, that will get me through anything if I stay sober. Doesn't get any better than that.

Everyone finds a higher power if they stay sober.

I do not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it! I can’t learn if I just shut the door and never look at it again. That’s called denial and avoidance for me
