Im grateful that ive come so far. Im grateful im better than i used to be. Im currently pursuing my ged, and I know that sounds simple to some people but it’s a huge step for me. I got pregnant at 15 and felt like I had had to drop out of school. I’m 37 now I’m just now getting my ged but I say it’s better late than never right? I’ve also got custody of my 17-year-old daughter like I said I’m better than I was in active addiction. All I cared about was the next high now all I care about is getting through my day sober to my higher power in my recovery all this is possible.
