Im grateful that last nights dream about drinking was just a dream..Feeling grateful for realizing that a dream about drinking was just that - a dream - can be a powerful experience. It can be a reminder of the importance of sobriety and the benefits it brings to our lives.

Dreams about drinking or using drugs are not uncommon for people in recovery. They can be a source of anxiety and fear for those who are working hard to maintain their sobriety. However, when we wake up and realize that it was just a dream, we can feel an immense sense of relief and gratitude.

This gratitude can serve as a powerful motivator to continue our journey towards sobriety. It can remind us of the progress we have made and the positive changes we have experienced in our lives since we stopped drinking or using drugs. It can also help us stay focused on our goals and maintain our commitment to living a sober life.

So if you recently had a dream about drinking, take a moment to feel grateful that it was only a dream. Use this experience as a reminder of the importance of sobriety and the positive impact it can have on your life. Continue to stay committed to your recovery and take pride in the progress you have made so far.

im 6 months sober and i STILL get dreams about using. In the dream, it’s always the chase. It’s either im trying to get my hands in the drug or there’s too many people around and i can’t find a spot to do it. Or my friend who i did it with a lot will be in the dream and will give me a terrible hit and i’ll get nothing and just be fiending for more.
It’s always a relief when i wake up and realize i didn’t actually do that !!!!! They are some of the most vivid dreams too.
