I let my depression get control of me and now I am 5150 in a hospital. I haven't been able to shake this miserable hopelessness. Please pray for me. My uncle came to visit me so I guess maybe he might care about me more than I thought

You'll overcome this... just know you always have control over your mind... its hard right now but with help, it'll get easier. Hang in there - I've been there before.

Try to remain positive- I know, so much easier said than done. What I always do now is to learn and embrace that hurt/pain and at some point, it'll break like a fever. Hopefully you'll be able to use that feeling to stoke that fire you have inside you. Its there; It's in all of us. Use that to your advantage and just let it burn...

Life is a series of cave ins and being trapped in a cave that only has two points and sometimes we have a match to guide our way and see where we need to go. Then sometimes that fuuuucker burns us. Yet we are all trapped in our own personal caves and we are all trying to find our way out even if we can't go back to the beginning ever again. you will find yours and keep lighting the match to find your way no matter how many times you get burned.

Thanks for all the responses, it's very nice and I gotta give my phone up until I convince the doctor I'm okay. So I will be sober + but I won't be online for awhile. Please keep me in your prayers. I want to get better. I want to be healthy.

I'm glad you are getting help. Many of us find help for issues that were hidden while we used alcohol or drugs. Counseling will help. Sometimes a doctor will assist us with medicine.
By God's Grace I will pray for you. Take your time there. Even though you might not feel it your life can change for the better. God bless you
