I'm liking methadone a lot more than Suboxone so far Idk if anyone else has made that switch before but I absolutely hated Suboxone n it didn't really work for me at all

What’s good Nathan. I just left VT almost two months ago to get away from my addiction that surrounded me there. Hope you’re doing well. I personally chose suboxone over methadone because I wanted the blocker. I’ve seen too many people on methadone continue to use since you can still get high. That’s why I chose the sub for the blocker. That way no matter how much my addiction tried to bring me back I always know that it’d be pointless because I won’t get high. And the time it takes to wait for it to get out of my system so I could get high that initial craving had already passed. Plus even if I waited all I would have to do is take some sub and I’d have no option to get high again for a period of time. That’s just me personally though obviously and when it comes to treatment it’s all about what works for you. Glad you’re doing it though. You just like the rest of us deserve a break and a chance at real happiness not induced “happiness”.

Yeah for sure man although I was still getting high after taking 3 8mg subs when I did fentynal or dope or whatever you wanna call it these days idk man I don't have any cravings with the methadone like I would with the subs ya know
