I'm new to this site. I'm 47 days sober. I'm married to an amazing man who is my support system along with his family. I'm just here to try to find more sober women who I could talk to and maybe relate and help each other

Thank you. I've just recently gotten out of rehab on Oct 2 and I don't know anyone that could relate or even be a good person to talk to. That's why I've come on here looking to find other sober people

Stick with the ladies here. Ignore the men who text you privately. Especially those that automatically want to know where you live. Creepy…

I honestly have no interest in speaking to any men. That is why I put looking for women to talk to and maybe relate. Us women sticking together and building each other up is what I need in my life. We go through so much in our lives of addiction it's amazing we are still here.

Oh they will text you privately anyway. Just block them if the text you privately. I feel the same here for sober support and fellowship with other ladies in recovery. Not to be hit on by creepy men.

Welcome and congrats on your 47 days! Feel free to message me if you want. There's also some Womens only support groups out there if you want. I haven't spent too much time on it myself, but She Recovers is one program that was recommended to me.

This app is only "a supplement" for the recovering person. Personally, meetings and the 12 Steps are "the meat and potatoes."

Hey Wanda. Congratulations on 47 days! Pretty cool. I remember what it was like getting out of rehab and both the support yet pressure I felt from my husband. I just didn’t want to let him or anyone down. It’s scary in the beginning but just take this day by day and reach out to people here and in the rooms. Believe me, when they are helping you it is helping them too. Don’t be afraid to ask. And, if you prefer women, that’s fine.

I say women out of respect for my husband also us women can relate with one another another more really don't get me wrong you men who have de)t with all the have are amazing and I live hearing you guys tell your story it's always touches me I don't talk to awhole lot of females so I need to find more sober women.
