I'm sick, but it's not a disease in the terms

I'm sick, but it's not a disease in the terms of being an illness. It's a disease in the terms of needing treatment, and that for the rest of my life. And during my life, there will be good days, and then there will be great days. Those good days are the days in which everything goes my way, and I don't use or drink. But the great ones? Those are the days in which NOTHING goes my way and I don't use or drink.

Yes, I agree. I often say that I don’t have bad days anymore. Instead I have difficult days. Those days when I just feel off, uncomfortable, anxious etc. If I’m aware of how I’m feeling, and use the tools of my daily recovery program, I typically get to the next underlying issues that are causing me to feel this way. I learn more from these days than others. As long as I don’t pick up, it’s just a difficult day, not a bad day. We all know about bad days. Let’s stay away from those :peace_symbol::pray:
