I'm so close to calling this sobriety off. Then pride

I'm so close to calling this sobriety off. Then pride comes in and says, "All because of a girl?" I know people will say stay strong, but this broke my heart. Finding out about them being involved and her requesting him to spike her Gatorade and him cuddling her when im away. This is a literal punch to the gut, slap to the face, and a kick to the rear. At least Celebrate Recovery is tonight, and that always brings me peace.

Life on life’s terms right there but you are aware and that’s what’s important

You’ve got it… “all because of a girl.” Your sobriety is more important. It’s your life, your future, and a gift for the next girl/family that actually appreciates you and deserves you. Don’t let her take everything.

Pride is telling you something important.. this fight is worth it. Don’t throw away all your hard work over one moment.

Alec listen buddy I have been there but on opposite tracks. Falling off and jumping back on the wagon had been the hardest for me. Saying to myself, self I will ease my pain, and the best part is that I can quit when I don't hurt anymore. Start over from the start each time I'd quit wore me down. Besides, when others get the best of us, we feel defeated. So what. We have something that they don't. Experience that we know how it feels to be with or without them dragging us down. Right her wrong off and tell her to have a nice life. Throw your feelings out the door where they belong. Just don't wipe your feet on them. Let them bask in their on making. God put you here his plan and you have a purpose all that will be revealed in his time. Stay Plain, Stay Simple, Stay Sober.
