Torie, that pull never goes away. 17 years sober and I still get crazy urges to drink and use! But I’ve learned to manage it much better with the tools of AA & NA. Actually I’m really grateful to be a recovering alcoholic and addict! We transcend not only using, we transcend just about everything else in life too:)
