I'm struggling getting my 4th and 5th step finished. I've been praying about it and if I can't write it up my sponsor will fire me. Like they say you got keep trudging.

I came from a meeting today where someone is worried that his 4th step won't be "complete."

I shared that my worst fear is to relapse by not working a program. I was reminded today that it's progress not perfection. The great thing is when I finish working the steps I have the privilege of reworking them when I fell short.

I can't be paralyzed by fear and continue to actively put one step in front of the other.

Are you using just the Big Book or do you have the AA worksheet?? There are also workbooks online that can help walk you through it and focus on what this step is really about. It doesn't have to be perfect...just get it out as best as possible. You can revisit it again as many times as you need to. Very important step...you've got this!!!

You probably just don't have many faults!

It's a process that takes time. Keep going
