How has your relationship with yourself improved?
I’m starting to learn how to set boundaries and not allow people to trigger me.
I’m also not allowing abusive people in my life that set off these triggers.

I have become calmer, my faith stronger, my relationships with God, my children, so much stronger and genuinely very rewarding.
I don’t hate myself every morning anymore.
I don't let people take advantage of me anymore and I love and respect myself.
This is so relatable. Hating yourself due to alcohol is such an unexplainable feeling. You hate who you are all day. And at night you even dream of hating yourself. I started to have suicidal thoughts i loathed who I was, what I did and said when drunk. I’m sober now and always think of that feeling about how I felt about my self.. that alone keeps me sober.
And I’d numb the feelings of hating myself with, you guessed it, whiskey.
Congratulations on sobriety. It’s so nice.
You too man! I recently felt excitement for the future. Something. I haven’t felt probably in a decade. I’m 30 now and I will never go back down that road
Smart man.
