We are born new
Exposed
Vulnerable
Rendered helpless

We grow up yearly
Exposed
Impressionable
Eventually deemed reckless

We age and become old
Exposed
Defensible
Presumed to be sagacious

Oh, what a wonder it is
to know or not know
When will it ever be
okay, to let go...?

Whether it was taught, or it came naturallyโ€ฆIโ€™m wired to fight, to try harder, to keep on pushing, to never give up, to rise to the challenge etc. Nobody ever taught me to let go, to surrender, to accept. Nobody ever mentioned โ€œthe wisdom to know the differenceโ€. Maybe someone did try and teach me, but I didnโ€™t listen?? Either way, the freedom of letting go, even just a little, brings peace and tranquility into my life. It relieves the overwhelming anxiety that comes with trying to control the uncontrollable

Could it be someone or moreso something that has taught you :thought_balloon:? Let go, or just pop a balloon? Balloon being experiences, vices, struggles or perhaps love :dizzy:

Ouch my head hurts from thinking too much :joy:. Iโ€™ve yet to actually pop โ€œmy balloons, but Iโ€™ve definitely let some air out of a few of them. I gotta continue to sharpen my needle

Apologies for the headache. Sometimes, we need to exercise that muscle. It's there and often never used beyond its daily and roboticially mundane purpose but i blame it on the moon. It's always the sun or the moon

ITS OK TODAY TO LET GO. TRUST the process of RECOVERY and let it WORK FOR YOU.
