Thanks - genetics might be a factor. My dad was a boxer in his younger years. My key is to get a 3-5 mile hike in daily, limit sugar and red meat. If I saw weight gain as a side effect that would be a red flag
. I canât answer if itâs the drug or behavior, that would be a good question for the âexpertsâ.
See a doctor and find a recovery sleep aid to help you. Trust a medical professional more than a blog.
Thanks for that tip. I posted this inquiry mostly out of curiosity & desire to be part of a âcommunityâ. Not seeing advice on here.
I was prescribed trazodone last year but use melatonin a few nights a month. If Iâm true ky restless I call a friend.

I'm 2 days, And I haven't Slept either night. My whole body feels like a truck hit it. I know in the past it took me a good 30 days before I started sleeping normally
I remember my sleep improving at about 5 months sober. Remember we used things to relax and fall asleep. YouTube has some really good sleep meditations that work really good
I went about a month of great sleep and some new events in my life has me struggling a bit with my emotional sobriety. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I pray and thank God for holding me close. When it's morning I ask God to help me stay sober today and thank him for the struggle because today will be easier than yesterday and tomorrow will be easier than today.
