Intense cravings

Day 13 and I am craving wine horribly. I’m trying to identify what I actually want to release. I don’t even know. I’m tired of eating cookies chocolate… I’m tired of eating candy. I’m not in a good mood.

Mercedes, I was seriously addicted to champagne. It caused me to become pre-diabetic.

Have you looked into local support groups in your area?

I’m new to the app but there’s a lot of support groups on here.

Have you reached out to any women on the app to ask for support?

I was a severe alcoholic so let me know how I can support my friend.

You were born to be phenomenal Mercedes. By you sharing that you’re struggling is the first step to allowing people in recovery to support you.

Continue to reach out to your sisters and brothers in recovery that’s on this app.

Sending you love, light, abundance, and infinite blessings. :pray:t5::innocent:

Mercedes mam,

I hope wellness has come your way today.
I would have had 14 days put together sunday.
I fell for the craving, it didnt end well.. :weary: :pensive:
Fell down, cracked the glass on my phone and lost my glasses.

That part you mentioned about identify. For sure.

The goodness out of this(experiment, if you will)is i got stung enough from this to get a real good grip this time.

10/01 to make another go at it. 90 and 90 is my goto right now.

I just got back to this app and will need to throw a pic and fine tune it.

Take care

Hi Michael
I’ am so sorry you got hurt under the influence. The great thing is that you’re trying and getting right back up. Don’t give up on yourself.

I don’t think it’s so much that you want to release anything I feel like the way the drugs or the alcohol comfort you is the same comfort you’re looking for from somewhere else and that’s OK but you have to find some thing that gives you that same comfort somewhere else that’s healthy for you

Try nonalcoholic wine. Start gaming or working out as a distraction from eating or working out to combat the weight gain from eating.
