Introverted and looking for some support.
Hey all, I live in the Bay Area and would love to get in contact with some sober peeps!
I am recovering from AUD and am trying to move past a break-up and an apartment fire.
I do attend AA sometimes, but I attend more SMART and Dharma meetings— though i think we are still under the same roof.
Would love to talk to someone

Recovering from alcohol recent and drugs been 9 years already… (I had a three year relapse 9 years ago)
You are going through a lot. Take some time to process things.
A friend of mine who was in a bad house fire makes cookies and sandwiches and brings them to the police, firemen and burn unit where she recovered.
Volunteering of course is a great way to meet people with common interests.
You already go to meetings so you’ve got that base covered. You can try going to different meetings outside your immediate area for a change of faces.
And I loved the Campbell farmers market when I lived out that way. It used to be fun.

I’ve been to a few recovery Dharma meetings before Covid. I love AA. I’m currently working step 4.
