Is anyone else struggling to find a group in their area to socialize with?

Yeah man, we live in a relatively small city and the recovery scene is negligent at best. I’m the youngest guy in the rooms by 20 years minimum. It’s a bummer but has lead me to want to start my own group that focuses on younger professionals/students/people in general that are in recovery that want to be in recovery with people they can relate to. If you don’t end up finding one, maybe try an online meeting? Or heck man, start your own. That 12th step is what the majority of the long time sober people I know swear to as being paramount in their recoveries. Not all, AA isn’t a one size fits all approach, especially if we can’t relate to anyone like ourselves, but at this point I am willing to do anything to keep me sober. Keep it up man, you got this!

I live in a large sober community and will have 7 years sober next month, it's just idk tough latly in Florida
