Is it normal to feel like your brain is in

Is it normal to feel like your brain is in a fog after 2 days of being sober? I slept like a rock last night but dragging and feel like I can’t think or process today. Last drink was one glass of wine Tues night as I was easing my way into sobriety.. wanted to avoid withdrawal. I’ve had plenty of caffeine!! I think it’s probably part of the detox but curious what others went through.

Brain gonna take a bit to get rewired. Try not so much caffeine. That can add to the fog. Give yourself a few days to start feeling better. Just don’t use and the new you will appear. Hope you keep up that struggle. It’s a good life not using. And sleeping can be good. Try getting plugged into a program also. Something recovery oriented. Helps to have others in sobriety helping you through this new you. Congrats on those two days also. You got this.

It took my brain a long time to get reworked. Sleep was a weird thing for me, I now remember dreams when I haven’t for a decade. It gets easier as the days go on. Water and anything to replace electrolytes is a good thing.

I’ve noticed I can’t get enough water! It’s funny how you stop drinking and think you’re more hydrated but need rather just can’t get enough fluids!! My body needs it
