Is there a moment every addict has, where you finally decide to do WHATEVER you have to do, so you can save yourself. I don’t know if that’s like a thing or anything, but I give up trying to figure this out on my own I can’t do this by myself. I am willing to give up everything I have right now in order to have a decent future. It’s a hard realization. But I think I can finally give myself fully to my higher power and surrender. I think I’ve heard people speak on this subject at meetings but never really HEARD what they were saying. I’m ready to listen now

Yuhhh, that’s a big thing bro. I just completed my 3rd step, picked up my 6mo… and the same day was put to the test…. I had a moment just like you described about going forward or going down the same path: surrender; acceptance; hope; trust; faith; love.
