Is there anyone on here feom armstrong county pa? I really need ppl that are in recovery or sober period in my life… where im from there is more addicts then sober or recovery ppl i got 7 months and i dont wNt the stuff in my life no more i spent 31 years in a fog

It’s hard to get and stay sober! I hope you find your people! It’s easier when you’ve got a group where everybody's got their arms around everybody else's shoulders guarding' against the world outside.

Thanks Mike the few I talk from on here are not my state at all so it does suck because I’m a very outgoing person and due to my addiction I lost a lot and people is one of the most important for me

Find an AA group. Even if you have to drive a town or two away. That’s where you’ll find your sober people. There are at least a dozen tonight within Armstrong County. Download the meeting guide app. It’s blue with a white folding chair. Type in your address day of week and it will tell you all AA meetings in person and on line.

It’s a hard path, I cut all my old friends loose too. Keep seeking. You’ll find a new crew!

Alcohol isn’t my problem I need na meetings and the ones in my area I’ve tried but most of the ones that go to them are still using so I stay away from those places

I am… if the vibe is off with someone or a place I leave because for the first time in my life I want to be sober

@amber373679 I'm nowhere near Armstrong County let alone PA. I'm out here in Southern California in the Laguna Beach area.

We have a strong NA community out here. You're more than welcome to come join us.

Yeah i feel that i spend a lot of time in nature but its fall and getting chilly here probably snow before i know
